Athens – Mycenae – Olympia – Rio- Lepanto- Itea – Delphi _ Kalambaka – Athens

Day1: Athens
Day2 : Athens – Mycenae – Olympia ( kilometres)
Drive along the coastal road to the Corinth Canal and the Theatre of Epidauros, before visiting Nauplio and Mycenae, to see the remains of the Citadel Palace and Tomb of Agamemnon. Your odyssey continues through central Peloponnesus and the town of Tripolis and Megalopolis to Olympia, the site of the first Olympic Games held here in 776 BC.

Day 3: Olympia – Rio  Nafpaktos – Itea – Delphi (210 km)
In the morning, visit Olympia and the original stadium where Apollo and Heracles completed and where Nero won a chariot race with a ten – horse team. Then drive through Eliad and Achaia to cross the 2.8 – kilometer long Rio bridge before travelling via Nafpactos and Itea to Delphi.
Dinner and overnight in Delphi.
Day 4: Delphi – Kalambaka (meteora) (170 km)
In the morning, visit the archaeological site and museum in Delphi before departing for Kalambaka. Dinner and overnight in Kalambaka.
Day 5: kalambaka (Meteora) – Athens (326 km)
Visit  the monasteries of Meteora, perched on top of 550-metre high sheer- sided rock pillars containing priceless specimens of Byzantine art. Return to Athens via Trikala, Lamia and Thermopylae, where you visit the monument of the Spartan warrior hero, Leonidas. Overnight in Athens.
Note: When visiting monasteries please dress modestly, ladies should wear a skirt and gentlemen long trousers
